James Hook voices disappointment following World Cup exit

Port Talbot-born Wales star James Hook, has spoken out on Twitter of his disappointment following Wales’ narrow loss to South Africa in their Rugby World Cup quarter-final.

He thanked  fans for their great support during their campaign, which saw the team escape the pool of death.

He said: “Thanks for all the support for the last few weeks. [I was] grateful to play a little part in this fantastic Rugby World Cup. Gutted we couldn’t go any further.”

The Welshman, who is now plying his trade at Gloucester, was called up to the squad following injuries to Scott Williams and Halla
